Patriot Festival 2011, Charlotte, NC--The People Have Spoken!





















Troy Taylor and his team of folks from Jim ‘N Nick’s Steel Creek Road, Charlotte, NC location participated in the first ever Patriot Festival “Rib Burn-Off”. 15 of Charlotte’s “Best of the Best” chefs and BBQ folk were invited to participate in the burn-off. Congratulations go Troy and his team for taking the “First Place People’s Choice Award” for their entry!

The festival, which features not only the Rib Burn-Off, but also a foot race and a gala event, raises money for the Patriot Charities which offers support to vets and their families in North Carolina.

Patriot charities include: American Legion Unit 27, Fisher House Foundation, Hope for the Warriors, NC Heroes Fund , Manpower to Horsepower, Mitey Riders, Operation Homefront, SemperMax Support Fund, Special Operations Warrior Foundation, USO of North Carolina Charlotte Center, Wounded Warrior Family Support , Wounded Warrior Project.














Jim ‘N Nick’s is deeply honored to participate in a great festival that supports those who serve us all by serving in our Nation’s Armed Forces. Thanks goes to you, our guests for helping us help serve them.
